Bring your own agent: modory over MCP

Claude, Codex, Cursor or your own stack can now search, read and make works in your Field.

Not everyone wants a new Agent. Some of you already live in Claude, Codex or Cursor, with your own prompts and habits. Now that agent can work in your Field directly, over MCP, with the same tools the modory Agent uses.

One URL

Add modory as a connector in your agent and paste the server URL. You sign in once and allow access; from then on your agent can find its way around the Fields you own.

What your agent can do

An outside agent doesn’t get a cut-down version. It sees the same tools as the Agent built into modory, with the same names and the same answers:

  • List, search and read your works — documents, tables, PDFs — down to the exact passage or row.
  • Create and edit documents and tables, block by block and row by row.
  • Make folders, rename things and move them where they belong.
  • Keep each file’s Meta and the Field’s Canon up to date.

It tells modory which Field it’s working in, and it only reaches Fields you’ve given it.

It doesn’t cost ink

Your agent runs on its own model and its own account. Reading and writing your works through MCP uses no modory ink.

You stay in charge

Everything an outside agent changes is attributed to it and saved as a version, the same as the modory Agent. You can see what it did, compare, and restore. And you can disconnect it any time in Settings; its access ends at once.

Use the Agent built into modory, or bring the one you already trust. Your Field doesn’t mind.
